Status in ubuntu-gnome-default-settings package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Ubuntu GNOME since 13.10 has overridden Firefox's homepage to set it
  to about:home (Firefox's upstream default) instead of about:support
  (Ubuntu's default).

  This broke over a year ago.
