          expected = False
          if not self.kernel_at_least('5.0'):
              expected = True
          self.assertKernelConfig('BINFMT_AOUT', expected)

  For kernel < 5.0 it will expect this option to be enabled.

  AssertionError: BINFMT_AOUT option was expected to be set in the
  kernel config

  Seems that Tyler is working on this in bug 1818552
