Bug description:
  == Justification ==
  When running the ftrace in ubunut_kernel_selftests, the "Kprobe event argument syntax" will fail on Bionic PowerPC.

  This is because PowerPC was not supported by this test.

  == Fix ==
  9855c462 (selftests/ftrace: Add ppc support for kprobe args tests)
  This patch can be cherry-picked for Bionic and Xenial.
  Although we don't run this ftrace test in Xenial, it will still be a plus to fix this.

  It's already been applied in C/D.

  == Test ==
  Patch tested with Bionic P8. Test passed as expected:
  [23] Kprobe event argument syntax	[PASS]

  == Regression potential ==
  None.
  This patch is just for the kernel testing tool.

  == Original bug report ==
  This issue was not spotted on the other arches.

  Failure:
  [23] Kprobe event argument syntax	[FAIL]
