How can we create a custom gtk.MenuItem with a gtk.Entry inside? It is
possible, since the Ubuntu devs did it.

Bug description:
Thinking about how to solve the problem "I have too many tasks in my notification area": why don't we add a little search box in it and we display all the tasks that are both in the workview and matching the search terms?
