[Bug 621333] Re: Indicator list should reflect sorting done in windowed view
I'm going to rewrite notification plugin for GTG (which provides
indicator feature). I would like to discuss here possibilities and the
most suitable solution.
In my opinion, indicator menu should not show every possible task. When
you have more that 10 tasks, it become really confusing for me. I think
GTG could be inspired by the way Tomboy solved indicator panel. Show
just N (e.g. 5) tasks which were edited the most lately. I would like to
do that in that way. What is your opinion? I would appreciate any
feedback.

Title:
Indicator list should reflect sorting done in windowed view
Status in “gtg” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gtg
I can't seem to understand the way my tasks are sorted in the
indicator. I know that it's probably not arbitrary, but if feels that
way to me. It would be nice if the indicator list would reflect the
sorting in windowed view. For example, if I sort my tasks by due date.
The list in the indicator should due so as well.
