we moved our bug tracker over to github: https://github.com/getting-
things-gnome/gtg

You have issue with the permissions on your folder in
~/.local/share/gtg/

The following command should fix the issue:

$ chmod -R 755 ~/.local/share/gtg

(You might need to restore your tasks again from the backup)

  After a fresh install of Ubuntu 14.04 and installing gtg; I restored
  the gtg data from old backup, but gtg does not start at all.
