Hi Jamal,
I had stared to work on that a while ago. You can find some
preliminary work on lp:~gtg-user/gtg/evolution_plugin . Basically,
what it does it getting the tasks in and out of evolution.
You're  very welcome to commit to that or fork that.

The more people working on GTG, the merrier!
