[Bug 552430] Re: gtg crashed with RuntimeError in <module>()
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 537885 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/537885
After deleting ~/.local/share/gtg the application starts now. Apparently
I had some old data there from a previous install.

Status in “gtg” package in Ubuntu: New
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gtg
Several seconds after launching gtg, a crash dialog appears. The application itself never shows up. Apparently this is a different issue than bug #537885 since gtg never runs at all.
I did check that python-configobj is installed (it is) and
$ python -c "from configobj import ConfigObj"
$
returns nothing. This was mentioned in another bug report where the missing python-configobj package caused a similar problem.
