Same problem.

GTG version: "About" says 0.2.4, but actually it's 0.3.0~ubuntu114 from https://edge.launchpad.net/~invernizzi/+archive/gtg-daily
System: Ubuntu 10.10
Default browser: Firefox 3.6.13

in terminal, command 'xdg-open http://www.rememberthemilk.com' does open
the RTM page okay...
