After some research and a few tries with other software I second this
request.

I do NOT use RTM because I don't want my ToDos on any cloud service.
I'd rather sync my ToDos with a webdav or davcal service under my personal control. Alternatively I could also do with a direct sync between my mobile ToDo list app and GTG.
