Emilio proposed the following answer:
The tray icon was removed, as it was insecure and caused problems and confusion amongst users. Minimize to tray was removed too, as there is no tray icon now.
Autostart with session was also removed, as it required the user to type the password on start, and made the users believe the firewall was not active if that option was unselected.
