Have you ever considered installing VirtualBox and in VB your Windows 7.

If you are interested get back here with some detailed info about your
computer i.e memory size, disk size etc.

I know nothing about Mint, being an Ubuntu user.  I am sure Vbox will
work on yoyr system as well.
