This bug is still not fixed. AFAIK it's always been present in Lucid.

I have to kill gwibber-service and forget about it when I happen to
launch it to see if this functionality of the much heraleded MeMenu is
working at last.

Bug description:
  Gwibber is having an error connecting to Twitter and Facebook, so it pops up with the broadcast accounts dialog every 10 minutes or so.  It pops over whatever other work I am doing, stealing text window focus.

Expected interactions:
A message telling me what is wrong with my broadcast settings

Preferred interaction:
to politely pop up a window under other tasks like the daily package updater
