On my fresh install of 10.10 this bug is not present, but on my computer
where I upgraded from 10.04 to 10.10 this bug is present.

  scrolling with keyboard doesn't work

Bug description:
  it used to work some time ago.

  steps to reproduce it: focus the message area and press arrow keys in your keyboard.
  result: it doesn't scroll

  only mouse wheel works right now...
