[Bug 739251] Re: support identi.ca accounts logged in via OpenID

I guess this is really a bug in identi.ca itself. Now that gwibber uses
oauth for authentication, gwibber isn't what is generating the login
screen. That is a web UI provided from identi.ca for oauth clients to
login. I'll file a bug with them to add openid login to that interface.

Title:
support identi.ca accounts logged in via OpenID

Status in Gwibber:
  New
Status in “gwibber” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gwibber

My identi.ca account is activated using Launchpad as the OpenID
provider. However when setting up an account in Gwibber it cannot
authenticate against the account. The only workaround is generating a
password in Identi.ca and using this which is fairly suboptimal as the
aim for OpenID is precisely avoiding this account sprawling.
