Sort of. However, I am using python 2.6 and GNOME 2.30.2 with Gwibber
3.0.0.1 from the unstable/testing/experimental Debian repositories. That is,
I'm not building from source (hence, all dependencies presumably taken care
of by Debian's package manager).

  Gwibber version 3.0.0.1 on Debian unable to update tl due to grayed

Bug description:
  Despite the output noted below, Gwibber 3.0.0.1 is able to show
  updates from Identi.ca, Status.net, & Twitter, but I can not type
  anything into the greyed-out input update-field of the app.  Also
  attempting to retweet an message from TL, the text gets copied to
  greyed-out input field but my TL is not updated with my tweet/message.

  Could Gwibber be in "offline mode" (taking a hint from the output
  below)? However, I could not find an option in GNOME 2.3.2
  Configuration Editor nor Gwibber to toggle on/off.
