I installed Gwibber 3.1.0 in Fedora 15 today using
http://launchpad.net/gwibber/3.2/3.1.0/+download/gwibber-3.1.0.tar.gz,
it seems that the problem has gone.

By the way, I can now use other skins apart from the Ubuntu one.
