Message #01556
[Bug 830762] Re: Messages in Status.net are not being sorted properly.
I think this is a problem with the way Brainbird works with gwibber.
I'm now having issues with deepspawn (http://brainbird.net/deepspawn).
I'm not having an issue with identi.ca. When I see the notices on the
brainbird site, I see the correct timestamps.
They show "just now" for their most 20 or so dents. I see them "fall
off" after several hours (like 12 or so) and then new dents take their
place.
I don't know what's going on here, but I'm just kind of giving my
thoughts, I guess.

Title:
Messages in Status.net are not being sorted properly.

Bug description:
I'm running status.net in gwibber with my own status.net cloud
instance (http://gamerchick02.status.net) and I subscribe to bugabundo
on Brainbird (http://brainbird.net/bugabundo).
The issue is that gwibber is not sorting bugabundo's messages
properly, so I now have 20 messages from Bug in my window that will
not go away. This presents a problem since gwibber only shows the 50
most recent messages.
I'm running gwibber 3.0.0.1 on Ubuntu Natty 64-bit from the team PPA.
I've deleted the .gwibber folder from my /home/.local folder and that
did improve performance, which I was happy with, but now I've got this
issue.
Gwibber really should sort the messages by ID instead of by timestamp,
like what psquid says here: http://identi.ca/notice/81297411 and here:
http://identi.ca/notice/81297413.
This is not a security issue.
I've attached a screenshot.
If you need me to attach something else, please say so and I will.
