[Bug 667826] Re: Characters aren’t displayed when not included in stadard font
I can’t reproduce this bug any more in my present gwibber version
(3.2.1) – it seems to be solved. Anyhow thank you for your response!

Title:
Characters aren’t displayed when not included in stadard font
Status in Gwibber:
Fix Released
Bug description:
On my desktop I use the font Bitstream Charter, which doesn't have
such a brilliant unicode range. Everytime I get a Tweet containig
symbols which aren’t included in Bitstream Charter, they don’t show up
in gwibber (in the notification message they *are* displayed).
The message in the example screenshot actually is: 𝔍 ♡ 𝔉𝔯𝔞𝔨𝔱𝔲𝔯 (I love
Fraktur), but only the heart is shown. I’m definitely sure to have
fonts with the missing characters installed (Gnu Free Font,
Liberation, DejaVu).
Could you please define some alternative fonts instead of only using
the standard desktop? Maybe this works like in CSS: "Desktop-Font",
DejaVuSans, sans-serif;
