Title:
Embedded <object> causes Gwibber to constantly open new browser tabs
Status in “gwibber” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
One of my Facebook friends posted a Note with the following contents:
<object width="640" height="390"><param name="movie"
value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FnVD2BRamc4&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3"></param><param
name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param
name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed
src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FnVD2BRamc4&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3"
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true"
allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></embed></object>
The embedded <object> tags cause Gwibber to display a large blank
rectangle, and open a new browser tab with this URL every single time
the stream reloads. The result is an interrupted browser session as
new tabs spontaneously open, one every refresh interval.
