  Cannot post with me menu in ppa version, works with standard version

Status in Gwibber:

Bug description:
  I can't post to any networks with the me menu. When I try to, the text
  in the box "Post message..." won't disappear. If I delete the text and
  type a message, the message never gets sent (after hitting enter the
  me menu closes, but when I check - the message is still there).

  This does not happen with the standard version of gwibber, but the
  standard version doesn't work well with my networks - so I'm sticking
  to the ppa version. Any way to fix this?
