Bug description:
  Twitter have disabled their basic Authentication support which makes
  gwibber not to update your streams. if you are facing this problem
  under Ubuntu 10.04 or 10.10 please do the following and add twitter
  account again. things will work fine. The solution to this problem
  will soon be made available to all users through updates but for the
  time being.

  sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-desktop/ppa ; sudo apt-get update
  ;sudo apt-get upgrade
