I have published a roadmap with some proposals for features or changes
that I'd like to see after the 1.0 release. I'd like to encourage some
open discussion about the roadmap now. After we have had an opportunity
to ponder the proposals, we can begin authoring some blueprints in
Launchpad and start associating individual tasks with milestones.

I want to add additional proposals from everyone, but I don't want the
roadmap wiki page to turn into a generic feature request dumping ground,
so please clear your ideas here on the mailing list before you add them
to the wiki. We can create separate wiki pages for brainstorming and
miscellaneous feature requests if needed.
