I cloned the git repo to my local install just now and have tried it out.

I made some comments about what I think would need to be looked at
before I think it could be considered as the default theme and put
them in a comment here

Presumably we'd also need to get sign-off from the designer (jimmac)
that a) he'd be happy to give up the source and b) he'd then be happy
for us to fork from and modify it as and how we desire in the future.
