[Bug 679885] Re: auto-generate different lenses for rotated pictures

Because sometimes I HAVE to add control points manually (bacause the
automatic one does such a bad job), I rotate the images by hand before I
start. Then I get to see the images right side up in the control point
editor. I understand the OP's wish to have the images rotated right-
side-up before starting work with hugin.

On the other side, I understand the wish to have just a focal length
parameter and not a HFOV parameter. (those "two lenses" are actually one
and the same. ).

Title:
auto-generate different lenses for rotated pictures

Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:
  Triaged

Bug description:
When importing both landscape and portrait images with the panorama assistant, all images get assigned the same lens. This does not work, because half of the images has to be rotated 90 degrees.

If, for example, you have three photos of 3040x2024 pixels and two photos of 2024x3040 pixels, two different lenses should be assigned.

While this can't be perfect (think of a portrait rotated 90° to the left and another portrait rotated 90° to the right, they're both 2024x3040), automatically setting two lenses will an improvement.

(My camera does not produce any "rotation hints", I rotate them manually before stitching the panorama.)
