The whole window is already a space the user can drop their images on,
though we could make it more obvious or provide something that looks
more like a drop target.

  drag and drop images only works on 2nd tab, not 1st

Bug description:
  On the first tab "project assistant" there is a button to load images. However it would be beneficial to have a small space allowing the user to drag and drop the images onto this tab. 

This is not a bug per se but I'd call it a UX issue :)
