Title:
Permanent options saving for JPEG aoutput and quality
Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:
Fix Committed
Bug description:
It would be great if it were possible to save the output options (JPEG
output and quality) in a permanent way so that they are preserved as
the default options in the next runs of Hugins.
By the way, I'd like to ask if there is any difference in choosing
JPEG output quality 100% instead of TIFF output. The only thing that
changes is the output format and quality (JPEG instead of TIFF) or
some part of the transformation like the remapping or the enblending
really work better with TIFF rather than JPEG?
I usually prefer JPEG because I've seen that EXIF header information
like DateTimeOriginal are preserved even in the assembled output JPEG,
instead if I choose TIFF output they are not preserved, but I'd like
to have an assurement that the choice of JPEG instead of TIFF does not
affect the transformation.
Thanks
