Shift+F1...Shift+F9 also works on OS X but only on the main window. If
e.g. the Fast preview is frontmost this combination still switches the
tabs of the main window.

It would be cool to have shortcuts for 
- jumping tabs to the right and to the left in the front most window (Ctrl-Tab; Ctrl-Shift-Tab)
- switching between open windows like main window, Fast Preview, CP Table, Panosphere Overview (Ctrl->; Ctrl-<)

Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:

Bug description:
  It is impossible to use hugin with the keyboard only, since tab don't help you along the window, and there are no shortcuts for the
  buttons in the assistant. Please please improve that.

  1) Jumping to the tabs content area (e.g. using tab)
  2) Jumping between the buttons  (e.g. using tab)
  3) Maybe shortcuts to the 1-2-3 buttons
  4) Jumping to and within the menu (e.g. using tab)

  For implementation, reading usability guidelines (such as GNOME's or
  KDE's) is often useful.
