I am not some sort of a computer guru, so I might be the sort of person you can't take things for granted with and just expect that I will know all about how to install all sorts of software from root files or something. If I can't just click on the thing and it works, then I need exacting step by step instructions, which I do not see anywhere with the program.

  Downloaded Beta 2011...don't know how to install on Windows XP

Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:
  New

Bug description:
  when I click on the icon to run the program, this comes up:
   C:\Program Files\Hugin\bin\hugin.exe
  This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. 
  Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. 

  I reinstalled it a couple of times and still the program won't work. What I am doing or not doing right?
