I got the same thing after adding 5 more points to a pair that already
had 5. Went back and removed 2 of the latest points and all went well.
The fusion fix didn't help.

  Fix Released

Bug description:
  I tried to make a "hdr" image from a set of images, taken with
  exposure bracketing. Camera was held in hand (there are small
  movements between the images).

  In Hugin, on Stitcher tab, Output was set to "HDR Merging, Merged and blended panorama". Output format was EXR.
  The following error happened
