You are trying to use GPU acceleration which is experimental and it
obviously fails with your combination of video card / driver.

In the preferences, stitching tab, uncheck the box that says "use GPU
for remapping" and try again.

  error stitching

Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:

Bug description:
  I get this every time I try to stitch a pano. I've changed the file
  names without spaces or any characters other than letters and still
  cannot stitch a pano. I am using OSX 10.6.7 and the latest version of
  Hugin.
