BTW in the workaround description I also included a link to the
Panotools wiki for PTBatcherGUI so Mac users have a chance to find a
download URL.

The original release notes contain the following in the workaround description:
  "3. Click the run button to stitch."  
The Mac OS X version of the PTBatcherGUI has no 'run' button but an icon which is a 'play' symbol just like it is used on e.g. tape decks (or CD players as a digital equivalent). BTW the window title says 'Batch Processor' instead of 'PTBatcherGUI'. See attached screenshot.
