Further info: I test with the same project and image name again and again.
The issue occurs when I start a batch and I have to overwrite the image. At that moment I get at the same time I get an overwrite message box asking me to overwrite (yes/no) AND a yellow note obviously taking foreground position. I can no longer close the messagebox and as long as I can't close the messagebox the yellow note stays on top as well. This is an unending trap.

When no message boxes need to be activated, ptbatchergui works with the
yellow notes.

  PTBatcherGui has now the yellow notes "things". They make PTBatcherGui
  hang on OSX.

  Next: please make this an option. I think these yellow notes are
  really annoying.
