[Bug 805166] Re: Mask should be saveable, loadable and applicable to all images

What version of Hugin are you using? In recent versions, you will find
the functionality you are looking for on the Mask tab.

In the lower left corner there are subtabs. One of them is called
"Import/Export" and has four buttons. Hit the "Export" button to save a
mask and "Import" to load it.

If you want to apply a mask to a set of images, look into the "Mask
type" drop down, just below the list of masks. "Exclude region from all
images of this lens" is the one that will help you with your need.

I am marking this report as "invalid" because the way I understand your
request it is already implemented. If I have misunderstood your
request, feel free to respond/clarify and change the status to "New"
again to attract attention.

Title:
Mask should be saveable, loadable and applicable to all images

Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:
  Invalid

Bug description:
There are some environments were one would like to mask a certain
region in all/a subset of all the images used for the stitching. For
example this is the case if there are dust artefacts on the CCD.
Therefore an option allowing to save and open masks would be
desirable. Additionally there should be a tickbox, allowing to apply a
mask to all images. Both should be pretty easy to implement if one is
  familiar with the code.
