Re: [Bug 802567] Re: hugin gives an error during stitching message - no final output

Yuv,

Sorry, I don't have the PTO file. I only keep the TIFF.
Yes, I remember using auto crop, and after that enlarging the frames a bit. Does Hugin remember an auto-crop as a 0 (zero) size? Anything bigger would be a negative crop? Then that's how that happened. But doesn't explain the huge black area's that were there to begin with.

Hugin needs info about the lens. I used an old MF lens of which I didn't
put any information into the camera, so Hugin asks for focal length /
field of view. I gave Hugin the correct information. But still, as if
Hugin thinks it needs to fill up a lot of space, as if it thinks it's
dealing with a super wide angle lens, while it was actually a 85mm...? I
am 100% sure I did fill in the 85mm in the correct box as well as the
1.5 crop factor. I tried this panorama two times with the same result.

You asked if I used the assistant. Yes, for aligning. I used 'Images' to
drop in the 2 images and create control points. Then I checked out what
the control points looked like. After I saw everything looked OK I used
the quick optimiser and the exposure optimiser. Then back to the
assistant to align, then to the preview to choose a projection type and
in this case crop loads of abundant space, then back to the assistant
again to create the panorama.

That's it. Anything else I can do? I could try to create the same panorama again.

Just as an example I added a jpg of the finished result.

Greetings.

Title:
  negative crop values

Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
When previewing the panorama without any cropping the final result
would become huge. This is because of major black areas around the

This is the log, not the same as other no output writing errors as far
