[Bug 801862] Re: Hugin.exe on win 7 crashes on exit when fast preview is open

Might be related to bug 816240 (threading issue) and/or to bug 792896
(fast preview issue, current hypothesis that it is a threading issue as
well).

Othmar, can you please confirm what kind of CPU are you using,
specifically how many cores / threads it has?

I am setting the report status to Incomplete. When you complete it,
please set it back to New to attract attention. You can do so with
hitting the yellow round button next to the current status.

Thanks
Yuv

Title:
Hugin.exe on win 7 crashes on exit when fast preview is open

Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
System: Windows 7 SP1 with McAfee Antivirus
  Hugin.exe both 2011.0.0 and 2011.2.0 beta2
  To reproduce the bug:
  Open Hugin
  load a panorama file xxx.pto
  open the fast preview
  change to hugin
close hugin with the menu (files, exit)
  hugin crashes

The following sequences do not crash hugin
  open hugin.exe
  load a panorama
  open the standard previewer
  switch to hugin
  close hugin

  and

  open hugin
  open a panorama
  close hugin

It seems that some communication between the fast previewer and hugin
  is mixed up

when using 2010.4 this crash does not happen

  Greetings,

  Othmar
