This is already available. 
Use the identify tool. When you click on an overlapping area the control point tab opens with the two images selected and you can edit the control points.

Bug description:
  Feature request.
  It would be great if clicking on a control point in the 'Fast Panorama Preview' window would take you to the control point on the control point tab.
