This is caused by internal destroy behavior of wxSplashScreen under the
observed cases. See:

Bug description:
  Found under ubuntu 64 bits with hugin svn 4233.

  To reproduce:
  Start hugin, click on the white splash screen that will appear at the same time and you'll get a segmentation fault message.

  Minor bug anyway.
