[Bug 945849] Re: PTBatcherGUI.exe crash, can't open a window
Try the following:
Delete the file .ptbt0 and .ptbt1 (only one exists) in c:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming or c:\Users and Settings\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming (depending on windows version).
Then start ptbatchergui again. Maybe there is some wrong file in the batch queue. Does it still crashes now?

Title:
PTBatcherGUI.exe crash, can't open a window
Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:
Incomplete
Bug description:
- Hugin 2011.4.0.cf9be9344356
- Win 7 Pro, NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800M, Intel i7 Q 80 @1.86 MHz, 6 GB RAM
- different PC on identical Win not affected --> maybe graphic card?
- Re-install of Hugin does NOT resolve the problem
- older versions also affected
DESCRIPTION: Hugin starts fine, when I click "Stitch" (or directly
start the *.exe of it) PTBatcherGUI.exe starts a process, but does not
open a task window. After a while, sometimes after using some 90MB of
RAM for an hour, it crashes. There is an icon for the task in the
Windows notification bar, but clicking it does not result in anything.
ERROR MESSAGE: *** Caught unhandled unknown exception; terminating
This problem first occurred after a Win 7 Pro update in January, and
has not gone away with follow-up updates.
