[Bug 964361] Re: Optimizer custom parameters ignored
Why do you optimize yaw for one single image? It should be 0 anyhow.
Better optimize pitch and roll, maybe also (in later steps) v,b and a,c.
The second part sounds a bit weird (resetting check boxes) but in this
case it would make sense to me because that optimization would work as
described above.
Perspective correction works great with vertical control points,
horizontal lines are a very special case, see
<http://wiki.panotools.org/Horizontal_control_points>.
Here is a howto that should also work in your case (i.e. it's meant to
work nicely with one single image):
Does that help?
Sorry I can't help with Windows related problems. It doesn't necessarily
have to be Matthew's build, maybe your prefs are not compatible with the
version, or some other hint can be found in a crash log...

Title:
Optimizer custom parameters ignored
Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:
New
Bug description:
I want to correct the perspective of 1 rectinlinear image, using two horizontal lines.
I set Optimizer parameters to "the Cusom parameters below" as needed
yaw: optimize
pitch: fixed
roll: optimize
But when running "Optimize", these parameters are ignored and set back to default:
yaw: fixed
pitch: optimize
roll: optimize
This is not the result I want. I correct it again and "Optimize"
again. This time Hugin crashes with "internal error".
This feature was OK in earlier version of Hugin.
My system: Windows 7 64 bit
Hugin 2011.4.0.cf9be9344356 built by Matthew Petroff
