Message #04308
[Bug 1170197] Re: Warning very small field of view
I have just had another look at this project, using all 8 images.
If I optimise y,p,r,v I get a good result, with 102 deg H, 18 deg V after adjustment of sliders in FPW.
If I then include barrel (y,p,r,v,b) it goes haywire and ends up with 1 deg H, and 1 deg V.
It looks to me as though the overlap between images is good.

Title:
Warning very small field of view
Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I am using Hugin-2013 (6263:1ef490fcda32) on Fedora 18 x86_64.
Not sure if this is a bug, but something doesn't seem quite right.
I have a project of 5 images, all taken with same focal length.
My lens is calibrated and I load the lens data from Lensfun.
When the images are loaded Hugin guesses the FOV=25.7 deg.
If I optimise for y,p,r,v I get a very good fit and nice arrangement in the Fast Preview window.
The field of view is reported as 177 deg H, and 20 deg V.
If I then optimise everything without translation I get a warning very small field of view.
After adjusting the FPW sliders to get as good a view of the stitch as is possible, the field of view is reported as 1 deg H and 1 deg V.
The FL is reported as 13525 mm.
