[Bug 1214004] Re: Enfuse 4.1.1 crashes on Windows 7
I've run it under the debugger, but there are no symbols:
> KernelBase.dll!000007fefd8d940d() Unknown
enfuse.exe!000000013fa21fcc() Unknown
enfuse.exe!000000013f764055() Unknown
enfuse.exe!000000013f897ede() Unknown
enfuse.exe!000000013fa8f1c7() Unknown

enfuse.exe!000000013fa6e030() Unknown
enfuse.exe!000000013fa1c19e() Unknown
[External Code]
This is the exception:
First-chance exception at 0x000007FEFD8D940D in enfuse.exe: Microsoft C++ exception: std::runtime_error at memory location 0x00000000009CEC60.
When running it under the debugger three more lines are printed as part of the verbose output:
enfuse: an exception occured
enfuse: Minimizer1D::set_bracket: minimum not bracketed
enfuse: info: remove invalid output image "C:\Users\Bert\AppData\Local\Temp\LREnfuse\DSC01008_HDR.tif"
If you have a debug build, I'd be happy to retry with that.
Alternatively, I can provide you with the images, so you can try it
yourself.
There is a question back in my mind: how did you smell that I might be
able to run it under a debugger?

Title:
Enfuse 4.1.1 crashes on Windows 7
Status in Enblend:
Incomplete
Bug description:
When I try to enfuse the attached three images, Windows reports an
error message on the following enfuse command:
enfuse.exe -o "DSC01374_HDR.tif" --exposure-weight=1 --saturation-
weight=0.2 --contrast-weight=0 --contrast-window-size=5 --depth=16
--compression=LZW "aligned_0000.tif" "aligned_0001.tif"
"aligned_0002.tif"
This is the error message:
[Window Title]
enfuse.exe
[Main Instruction]
enfuse.exe has stopped working
[Content]
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
[Close program]
I tried to attach the three images to this bug report, but I guess the file is too large (500 MB). If you want, I can make it available to you.
I'm running enblend-enfuse-4.1.1-win64 on Windows 7.
