We will considers this for the next release.

Have a look on the tutorials to get a first impression, what is possible
with Hugin. That's more than "simple" panorama stitching.

Bug description:
  The News section lists Hugin version releases since 2010 with a
  description that reads "Hugin is more than just a panorama stitcher".
  It looks silly; this isn't news. It would look better if you either
  had a proper and unique description under each release, or removed

  Furthermore, if I read that Hugin is more than just a panorama
  stitcher, I would expect this to be an introductory statement to a
  paragraph that goes on to enunciate what else Hugin is. I can find no
  such paragraph anywhere on the site. There actually is no "about"
  section.
