Hello from Laburnum

Please accept my apologies for not using the "Summary" box correctly !
Clicking on the OK box does indeed make the box go away , however the
batch processor remains gray and unrepsonsive . When I open a terminal
and run top you cannot see a process for the batch processor . Closing
the batch processor brings up a prompt warning that the process has
become unresponsive .

  Ubuntu 14.04 LTS .HUgin does this with JPG and with Tiff files
