I see several issues you should look into:

"Memory usage (...) free 207"
If this means 207 MB you should either try to quit other programs while running Hugin, and/or test a computer that has more RAM available.

 "Error: Directory NikonPreview with 8224 entries considered invalid; not read."
How about putting your panorama project related files (images and .pto) in a dedicated directory? Make sure the path has no special characters.

 "enblend: info: loading next image: DSC_0055 - DSC_0056 (Modified in GIMP Image Editor)0000.tif 1/1"
Can you please make sure that your image files, the project file and the path to it contain no special characters. Brackets are special... I'd even replace spaces with '-' or '_'.

 "enblend: error: OJPEG encoding not supported; use new-style JPEG 
compression instead"
Can you test TIFF as output format, please?

  Ubuntu 14.04 LTS .HUgin does this with JPG and with Tiff files
