When it is crashing? In the title you mentioned the "Layout" tab, but in the description you said the "Preview" tab. So which tab is affected?
Does the crash happens with all projects? Or only with some?

Bug description:
  Hugin 2013.0.0 consistently crashes on my mac running mavericks
  shortly after entering the "Preview" tab of the GL-based preview
  window. Attached is the information the apple crash reporter gives me.
