I can also confirm that this only happens on my Mac. Linux and Windows
work fine.

Maybe I can find some time at the weekend to compile hugin on my own to
get better debugging symbols.

Bug description:
  Hugin 2013.0.0 consistently crashes on my mac running mavericks
  shortly after entering the "Preview" tab of the GL-based preview
  window. Attached is the information the apple crash reporter gives me.
