[Bug 1537224] Re: Optimisation details not showing correctly in Assistant

Hi Terry,

I found no solution to fix this in place. It seems there was a change in X window or the driver and the OpenGL window is now different handled.
So I changed the display more radically. The text moved into the notebook above. (Therefore it was necessary to shorten the text slightly. I removed not so needed information.)
The code is currently only in default branch. Please test if it works for you. If all is okay, it can go also into 2016.0 branch.

Optimisation details not showing correctly in Assistant

Bug description:
After optimisation, selecting 'Assistant' tab in Fast Preview window doesn't show the optimisation details.
If I drag either of the FOV sliders the optimisation details flicker on and off, but don't remain displayed.
