[Bug 1785553] [NEW] Wrong gamma of 32-bit float images in Control Points editor
Public bug reported:
Hello
32-bit floating-point images (from RawTherapee) are overexposed in the
Control Points editor. Maybe they have the wrong gamma applied, or the
embedded ICC profile is not used?
If you open the source images in GIMP-2.10.4 you will see them correctly
with the correct gamma. They are of course very dark, so maybe the CP
Editor is trying to make them easier to view for the user through
dynamic range compression and increasing exposure. If that's the case,
then nice, but the large CP editor magnification box, the one that
magnifies the few pixels you are hovering over when placing new CPs,
still shows a completely black preview, as you can see in screenshot
screenshot_20180806_081643.png.
