The system theme? I'm using Breeze-Dark, not sure where it got the white
from.

True, but maybe graphite #262626 or CIELAB medium gray #777777 would be
less eye-sore.

Bug description:
In 2018.0.0.5abfb4de7961 in the OpenGL viewer the area immediately
around the images is black, good, but the area on both sides of that
area is a very distracting white. Would be better if it was black.
